Position OverviewUnited Health Services (UHS) is seeking an experienced Epic Radiant Analyst to support, optimize, and enhance radiology workflows within the Epic electronic health record (EHR) environment. The Epic Radiant
Analyst will collaborate with radiology leadership, clinicians, operational stakeholders, and IT teams to design, build, implement, and maintain Epic Radiant solutions that improve patient care, operational efficiency, and regulatory compliance.
The ideal candidate possesses strong healthcare IT experience, Epic Radiant certification, and a comprehensive understanding of radiology operations, imaging workflows, and clinical system integrations.
Work Model: Flexible Hybrid. This role offers a mix of remote work and onsite attendance required for meetings, team collaboration, training, and other key business activities.

Compensation Range:$33.63 - $50.45 per hour, depending on experience
Job Responsibilities:Epic Radiant Configuration and Optimization - Design, build, configure, and maintain Epic Radiant functionality to support effective radiology operations.
- Translate business and clinical requirements into practical system solutions.
- Configure imaging orders, scheduling workflows, work queues, reports, and operational tools.
- Manage system enhancements, upgrades, and optimization initiatives.
Workflow Partnership and Process Improvement - Partner with radiologists, technologists, schedulers, and operational leaders to improve radiology workflows.
- Assess current-state processes and recommend best-practice solutions.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, patient safety, and user satisfaction.
Testing and Quality Assurance - Develop and execute test plans and test scripts.
- Perform unit, integrated, and regression testing for application changes.
- Validate system functionality and confirm quality standards are met before deployment.
Project Implementation and Cross-Functional Coordination - Participate in Epic implementation projects, upgrades, and application enhancements.
- Support design sessions, system build, testing, training, and go-live activities.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Compliance, Documentation, and User Support - Support HIPAA compliance, security standards, and organizational policies.
- Maintain data integrity and support regulatory and accreditation requirements.
- Ensure workflows align with healthcare industry best practices.
- Maintain build documentation, support procedures, and configuration records.
- Develop training materials and provide guidance to end users.
- Ensure adherence to change management and governance processes.
Position Qualifications Minimum Required: - Two to three (2-3) years of healthcare operations (clinical, patient care, administrative or revenue cycle), information technology or health information technology experience
- Current Epic Radiant certification; or willing to travel for training and achieve certification within 90 days of completion of training at Epic headquarters
Epic Radiant Preferred Specific Experience:- Experience as a RAD Tech
