Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years' experience with EpicCare certification required
• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or healthcare-related field
• Experience in a hospital or healthcare organization preferred
• Knowledge of industry best practices for optimized operations
• Strong oral and written communication skills for diverse audiences
• Exceptional organizational skills for a fast-paced environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and departmental applications.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, design, and maintain Epic Ambulatory Modules (EpicCare)
• Configure vendor applications and products effectively
• Assess workflows and resolve technical issues with the Epic application
• Scope major and minor enhancements per ISS standards
• Recommend and prioritize changes based on new functionality analysis
• Troubleshoot user issues and provide daily support
• Collaborate with IT, clinical, and business staff to create efficient workflows
• Maintain system documentation and develop specifications and procedures
• Define user requirements thoroughly
• Apply project management methodologies to track project progress
• Lead short-duration projects while monitoring results
• Develop test plans and conduct system testing
• Provide on-site support during implementations
• Be on call for scheduled application support
• Audit data entry by end users for accuracy
• Track and resolve issues and problems as they arise
• Apply systematic development methodologies for problem-solving
• Follow Change Management processes closely
