We count on you for:- Executing company specific requirements across Performance and Care GBU
- Collaborate with the GBU HSE Team
- Investment Project Support across GBU in NA.
- This position will provide direct support and be accountable for Environmental reporting at Spartanburg and Winder facilities
- Provide advice and support to all NA Performance and Care sites as needed for regulatory reporting in the U.S. (RCRA, NPDES, SARA, Clean Air Act, etc). Additonally support sites with internal SERF reporting.
- Select or Develop tools to enable efficient environmental emissions reporting for regulatory and internal requirements (CSRD and SERF)
- Train, coach, and mentor site level HSE resources on key Environmental requirements
- Advise HSE Director and Site Managers on potential regulatory gaps and provide assistance on strategy to resolve.
- Manage consultant interface with sites to ensure efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate across the organization by participating in subject matter teams
- Identify development opportunities to enhance environmental competencies
- Work and collaborate globally with all P&C sites as needed
- Coordinate or participate in assessments and audits.
- Develop good relationships with colleagues and sites to ensure close collaboration
- Promote a culture of engagement hrough open communication
- Establish effective networks within the company and with external organizations
- Interface with regulatory agencies as needed in consultation with Syensqo Legal
Site Support- Provide technical guidance and support to industrial sites.
- Conduct periodic site visits to assess compliance and performance
- Lead investigations of complex environmental regulatory issues
- Be an active participant at sites, as needed, to deliver solutions to complex problems

You will bring:- A minimum of a Bachelor's or equivalent University degree in a technical field (Chemical or Mechanical Engineering) or equivalent
- 10+ years of experience in plant operations technical role and/or process safety management
- Familiarity with industry standards and practices (API, ASME, NFPA, etc.)
- Knowledge of local and national process safety regulations, such as EPA RMP, OSHA PSM, SEVESO
- Knowledge of dispersion modeling techniques and software (ALOHA, PHAST, RMP*Comp, etc.)

You will ger: - Competitive salary and benefits package
- The U.S. base salary range reasonably expected to be paid for this position is $124,560 to $155,700 per year. Since actual compensation packages are based on a variety of factors unique to each candidate we may ultimately pay more or less than the posted base salary range. Total compensation for this role also includes bonus and/or other incentives.
