Location/Division Specific Information

  • Schedule: Monday - Friday
  • Hours: 8:00AM - 5:00PM (must be flexible to support the needs of the business)
  • Compensation: Base Salary + Bonus Potential!
  • Location: 2910 Telecom Parkway, Richardson, TX 75082

How will you make an impact?

You will be responsible for leading Environmental, Health & Safety programs within our manufacturing facility, protecting employees, the environment, and business operations by developing and implementing effective EHS strategies. Through leadership, training, compliance management, and continuous improvement initiatives, you will help foster a safe workplace while supporting operational excellence and business objectives.

What will you do?

  • Lead and manage all Environmental, Health & Safety programs and initiatives across the site
  • Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and programs to ensure regulatory and company compliance
  • Recruit, develop, coach, and retain high-performing EHS team members
  • Create training programs and ensure effective delivery of Environmental Management, Safety & Health, Emergency Response, and Business Continuity initiatives
  • Establish measurable goals and performance metrics for the EHS function
  • Provide coaching, performance management, recognition, and succession planning for EHS staff
  • Drive continuous improvement through data analysis, trend reporting, and metric management
  • Chair and lead the facility Safety Committee
  • Partner with operations, facilities, and leadership teams to promote safe work practices and ensure compliance with EHS standards
  • Support and maintain ISO 14001 environmental management system requirements
  • Lead incident prevention, risk reduction, and corrective action initiatives
  • Manage large-scale EHS projects from planning through implementation
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs, and implement industry best practices
  • Monitor departmental budgets and provide cost and forecast updates to leadership
  • Serve as a key advisor to Operations and Facilities leadership regarding EHS strategy and compliance
  • Collaborate with other facilities to share best practices and standardize EHS processes where applicable
  • Ensure all confidential and sensitive information is handled appropriately
  • Follow all company safety, security, and compliance requirements
  • Perform other duties as assigned

How will you get here?

Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Engineering, or a related field.

Experience:

  • 5 years of Environmental, Health & Safety experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
  • Experience leading EHS programs and teams.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, environmental management systems, and safety initiatives.
  • Experience with machinery safety, equipment installations, waste management (hazardous and non-hazardous), and management of change processes
  • Experience implementing continuous improvement and change management programs preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

  • Strong knowledge of environmental, health, and safety regulations and compliance requirements.
  • Working knowledge of TCEQ requirements, ISO 14001 standards, and environmental management systems.
  • Working knowledge of OSHA regulations, ISO 45000 standards, and other applicable regulatory requirements
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret and act on EHS metrics and trends.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Knowledge of risk assessment, incident investigation, and corrective action processes.
  • Ability to interpret technical documents, procedures, regulations, diagrams, and schedules.
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional EHS certifications (CSP, CIH, CHMM, or equivalent)
  • Experience supporting large manufacturing operations
  • Demonstrated success leading continuous improvement, cost reduction, and safety culture initiatives
  • Experience managing ISO 14001 & 45000 certification and compliance activities
  • Experience presenting and communicating with senior leadership teams
  • Experience with SMT equipment, conveyors, and automation equipment
