Job DescriptionTerracon is seeking a
Senior Hydrologic & Hydraulic (H&H) Engineer with 8+ years of experience to join our growing team. This is an opportunity to take the lead on impactful water resources projects while expanding your technical and leadership capabilities.
Responsibilities- SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE WE WANT:
- 8+ years of experience
- Project management skills in water resource design from concept through construction including preparing proposals, invoicing, project milestones, and achieving deadlines
- Competence in client relationships and meeting facilitation
- Team leading directing and mentoring junior staff
- Stream and wetland restoration, dam design and the permitting and approval process
- Conditional Letter of Map Revision (CLOMR), Letter of Map Revision (LOMR) preparation and processing
- Sediment transport
- Scour Analysis
- State (PA DEP, MDE, etc.) and federal (EPA, FEMA, U.S. Army Corps of Engineers) wetland and waterway permit processing
- Experience in preparing and processing designs and permits using PennDOT and/ or Philadelphia Water Department (PWD) standards
- Competence in HEC-RAS 1D, HEC-RAS 2D, SRH2D SMS, HydroCAD, SWMM or similar software modeling.
- ArcGIS
- Computer Drafting skills (Civil 3D, MicroStation).
- Proficiency in use of software for reports, presentations, and routine office administrative tasks.
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills.
- Willingness and ability to occasionally travel and work as needed to meet schedules.

Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related degree.
- Professional Engineer (PE) registration
- Engineers preferred
- Valid driver's license with acceptable violation history.
