Job DescriptionEntry Level Structural Engineer that will assist in the structural design of water containing structures and traditional building structural design for its Rancho Cordova, CA office.
The successful candidate will be part of a team performing the structural design of water, wastewater, and storm water treatment and purveying structures as well as support buildings using applicable software and design standards (ACI, AISC, CBC, IBC, AWWA). These facilities will primarily be concrete, masonry, steel, and timber construction. The candidate will also be involved in the development of contract plans, calculations , and performing construction support services.
Required Skills & Required Experience
- California EIT Preferred
- Master’s Degree Preferred
Familiar with the following design codes:
- California Building Code (CBC)
- American Society of Civil Engineers – Minimum Design Loads and Associate Criteria for Buildings and Other Structures 7 (ASCE 7)
Familiar with the following material designs, either through college course or work experience:
- Concrete
- Steel
- Masonry (Preferred, not required)
- Aluminum (Preferred, not required)
- Wood Construction (Preferred, not required)
*The projected range for this position is $84,000 - $86,500 annually. Depending upon other factors, i.e., skills, experience, location, market conditions, the range may vary slightly.
