Lithia & Driveway | Enterprise Architect

We9re looking for an experienced Enterprise Architect to define our technology strategy, establish architectural standards, and guide the evolution of our enterprise platforms. You9ll partner with business and technology leaders to design scalable, secure solutions, drive modernization efforts, and evaluate emerging technologies, including cloud and AI.

This is a highly influential role for a technology leader who can balance strategic vision with practical execution while helping teams build systems that are resilient, scalable, and ready for the future.

Location: Remote - some travel needed (up to 4 times per year)

Target Hiring Range: $150,000-$175,000

What You9ll Do
  • Define and drive the enterprise technology strategy, architectural vision, and long-term roadmap aligned with business goals.
  • Lead the design of scalable, secure, and resilient solutions across enterprise platforms, applications, and data ecosystems.
  • Establish architecture standards, governance frameworks, and engineering best practices that promote consistency, quality, and innovation.
  • Partner with executive, business, product, and engineering leaders to translate strategic objectives into technical solutions.
  • Guide architecture reviews, technology evaluations, and investment decisions to ensure scalable and sustainable outcomes.
  • Champion modernization initiatives, reducing technical debt while improving performance, reliability, and operational efficiency.
  • Provide leadership on cloud, integration, security, data, and AI architecture strategies.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies, vendor solutions, and third-party platforms to support business growth and innovation.
  • Mentor architects and engineering teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to technology and business leaders, influencing enterprise-wide technology decisions.


What You9ll Bring
  • 10+ years of experience designing and delivering enterprise-scale software solutions, distributed systems, and cloud-native applications.
  • 5+ years of experience leading architecture strategy and establishing technical standards across multiple teams.
  • Expertise in cloud platforms, enterprise architecture, APIs, system integration, security, scalability, and performance optimization.
  • Experience with containerization, CI/CD, DevSecOps, data platforms, and modern enterprise technologies.
  • Knowledge of AI and machine learning technologies and their practical application in business solutions.
  • Proven ability to develop technology roadmaps, evaluate emerging technologies, and guide enterprise-wide architectural decisions.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for business and technology stakeholders.


Total Rewards

At Lithia & Driveway, we believe in pay transparency. The full compensation range for this position is $135,000-$185,000, reflecting the earning potential and growth opportunities available within the role. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, job-related knowledge, and geographic location. Final pay decisions are made through the interview process and in accordance with applicable pay equity and transparency laws.
