Engineering Technician

Duties
Under the general supervision of the Manager of Engineering Services, the Engineering Technician prepares and reviews plans and specifications for various infrastructure and capital works projects and development proposals within the City's municipal boundaries and perform related inspections.
Qualifications
Considerable experience in a municipal infrastructure, associated capital works, municipal engineering standards/regulations supplemented by graduation from a post secondary institution in civil engineering technology or related program from a recognized post-secondary institution with eligibility for registration with The Association of Engineering Technicians and Technologists of Newfoundland and Labrador (AETTNL); or sufficient qualifications as determined by assessment.
