Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Engineering Technical Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience in data entry
  • Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite


POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage 11,000+ Flight Test assets
  • Store, manage and track all Flight Test equipment
  • Record database management
  • Surplus obsolete and damaged equipment
  • Restock and relocate all test equipment during refurb process
  • Pick up Dar media from airplane and deliver to data log station (TDRS)
  • Support Seattle or Everett Flight Test asset management and operations
  • Attention to details/customer requirements
  • Works under minimal direction
  • Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards.
  • Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.
  • Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability.
  • Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
  • Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
  • Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
  • Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.
  • Works under minimal direction


PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)

  • Experience in test asset or metrology
  • Technical/Technology degree in the areas of math, science, engineering, metrology
  • Knowledge of calibrated M&TE assets used in engineering test, measurement, and production
  • Experience in project management
  • Experience in inventory management
  • Knowledge of export and dangerous goods shipping requirements
  • Knowledge of aerospace industry


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds


REQUIRED EDUCATION

Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).

WORK HOURS

FULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; 1st: 5:00am-1:30pm ; 2nd: 1:30pm-10:00pm.

  • Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
