Chipton-Ross is seeking 2 Engineering Technical Specialists (Level 3) for a contract opportunity in Seattle, WA.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS (REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Experience in data entry
- Experience working with Microsoft Office Suite
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage 11,000+ Flight Test assets
- Store, manage and track all Flight Test equipment
- Record database management
- Surplus obsolete and damaged equipment
- Restock and relocate all test equipment during refurb process
- Pick up Dar media from airplane and deliver to data log station (TDRS)
- Support Seattle or Everett Flight Test asset management and operations
- Attention to details/customer requirements
- Works under minimal direction
- Develops, documents, implements, provides consultation on the application of, and ensures compliance with, requirements for use of engineering tools, processes and standards.
- Provides training and assistance in the utilization of processes and tools and supports the integration of engineering designs.
- Ensures regulatory requirements are met. Identifies and validates user access roles, produces tip sheets and understands system interoperability.
- Provides configuration management, coordinates changes, performs assessments of compliance and manages the implementation of product standards across company business units and programs.
- Represents company interests on external standards committees and develops, adapts and/or adopts external standards for internal use.
- Develops, maintains and distributes engineering documents, reports and correspondence to enable business activity.
- Collects, analyzes and validates engineering performance metrics and coordinates organizational requirements to support business needs.
- Works under minimal direction
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (DESIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE)- Experience in test asset or metrology
- Technical/Technology degree in the areas of math, science, engineering, metrology
- Knowledge of calibrated M&TE assets used in engineering test, measurement, and production
- Experience in project management
- Experience in inventory management
- Knowledge of export and dangerous goods shipping requirements
- Knowledge of aerospace industry
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS- Capable of lifting, pushing and pulling up to 35 pounds
REQUIRED EDUCATIONEducation/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Bachelor) and typically 6 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Master+4 years' related work experience, 10 years' related work experience, etc.).
WORK HOURSFULL TIME/VARIABLE SHIFT; 1st: 5:00am-1:30pm ; 2nd: 1:30pm-10:00pm.
ADDITIONAL INFORMATION - Employment will be contingent on clearing a drug screen and background check. Both must clear prior to start date.
