Job Description:

As a Planner/Scheduler III at Aulani Resort, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient and safe maintenance operations of the resort. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate resources to optimize labor, materials, and equipment usage. Your efforts will support compliance with regulatory standards, promote cost-effective practices, and foster collaboration across diverse maintenance, manufacturing, and engineering teams.

This full-time, salaried position reports to the Director of Engineering & Facilities and will work onsite at Aulani Resort on Oahu, Hawaii.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain short- and long-term maintenance plans.
  • Create and manage master schedules, monitor progress, and resolve variances.
  • Audit UMS data for work orders and job plans to ensure accuracy.
  • Prepare and interpret performance reports to identify improvement opportunities.
  • Evaluate current work processes and recommend changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Maintain CMMS data, including asset locations and equipment details.
  • Ensure compliance with corporate, federal, state, and environmental regulations.
  • Support purchasing, receiving, and expediting functions.
  • Review and manage existing service contracts and vendor agreements.
  • Lead negotiations with new vendors and contractors to secure favorable terms.


Required Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in project planning, coordinating, and scheduling.
  • Hands-on experience with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to build partnerships across teams.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills across multiple departments.
  • Ability to multitask and adapt priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, dashboards).
  • Knowledge of or ability to use estimating and scheduling software applications.
  • High School diploma or equivalent


Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of experience in engineering maintenance operations with emphasis on process analysis, labor optimization, and equipment strategies.
  • Hands-on experience with CMMS systems such as MAXIMO and HotSos.

The hiring range for this position in Hawaii is $72,000 to $96,500 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
