Full Job Description
We are seeking a highly qualified Engineering and Maintenance Manager to lead the engineering and maintenance operations of our food processing facility in Langley, BC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, safety, and efficiency of all mechanical equipment and systems while adhering to regulatory standards. This role requires a strategic leader who can effectively manage capital projects, lead maintenance programs, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring the safe and efficient operation of the facility. This role plays a pivotal role in ensuring the uninterrupted operation of our plant while driving continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and reliability.

General:

Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Engineering and Maintenance Manager oversees and leads all plant engineering and maintenance operations to ensure the high efficiency, safety, and performance of equipment, utilities, and overall facilities.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead all plant maintenance and engineering operations to ensure equipment reliability, efficiency, and uptime.
  • Develop and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies, including leading continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage capital projects, maintenance budgets, and contractor performance in partnership with the Plant Manager.
  • Provide engineering leadership for equipment upgrades, process improvements, and facility optimization.

  • Lead by example in fostering a culture of teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.
