Responsibilities

  • Prepare and present Program Health Reports and KPIs for Fire Protection.
  • Maintain and ensure compliance in program documentation and procedures.
  • Conduct engineering evaluations and reviews of fire protection systems.
  • Review and approve changes to designs affecting fire safety.
  • Lead and support internal and regulatory Fire Protection Inspections and audits.
  • Facilitate evaluations of fire protection issues and corrective action plans (CAP).
  • Engage in industry peer calls and committee participation on fire protection matters.

Full Job Description
**This Analyst role can be filled at the Entry level, Mid-level or Senior level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level** - **Expected salary range:** - **Entry Level - $76,000** - **Mid-level: $ 96,000 - $ 108,000** - **Senior Level: $128,000- $144,000** Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K **Primary Purpose of Position- **Fire Protection Program Engineer The Fire Protection Program Engineer (FPPE) is the station's technical authority responsible for implementing and maintaining the Fire Protection Program in accordance with regulatory requirements, fleet procedures, and NFPA standards. The FPPE provides technical leadership, supports regulatory inspections, maintains program health, and collaborates closely with engineering, operations, maintenance, corporate fire protection, and external oversight bodies **Key Responsibilities** - Prepare regular Program Health Reports/KPIs for Fire Protection and FLEX. - Maintain and update program documentation, including FPR, Safe Shutdown Analysis, and procedures. Ensuring compliance with regulations and commitments. - Perform engineering evaluations, calculations, and reviews on fire barriers, detection, suppression, and safe-shutdown features. - Review and approve design changes affecting fire protection systems or licensing basis. - Lead or support Fire Protection Inspections (NRC, NEIL, NOS), self-assessments, OPEX/IR reviews, and audits. - Support fire protection issue evaluation and CAP investigations. - Participate in peer calls, and industry committees (INPO, NEI, NFPA). **Minimum Qualifications:** **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Assoc Engineering Analyst/E01** - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) OR Associate's degree in a technical field and 1+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR - High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 2 years nuclear experience - Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E02** - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 2+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR - Associate's degree in a technical field and 3+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR - High School Diploma/GED and a min of 5 years applicable nuclear experience - Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area - Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties **MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Engineering Analyst/E03** - Bachelor's degree in a technical field (non-engineer) and 5 + yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR - Associate's degree in a technical field and 7+ yrs of nuclear or related industry experience OR - High School Diploma/GED and a min of 8 years nuclear experience or related experience of which 5 years should be at the exempt level - Working knowledge of engineering processes and systems required for the specific functional area - Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties
