Standard Job DescriptionProvides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. Gathers, maintains, formats, compiles, and manipulates technical data, such as laboratory or material test results and engineering design changes. Produces engineering documentation, reports, drawings (flow charts, block diagrams, and schematics). Performs detailed mathematical calculations using established formulas; preliminary analyses of data where guidelines are provided in such areas as trajectory adequacy, model dimensional consistency; and quantitative judgments concerning technical data. Uses personal computer in performance of analyses and development of documentation/reports. May conduct tests and record data to assist with engineering evaluation or analysis. Initiate resolution of technical production issues in coordination with design engineering, quality assurance and program management. Support recruiting and hiring of engineering technicians to meet production schedule requirements. Assist engineering with determining the cause of product failures and appropriate corrective action. Participate on the Material review Board.
Basic QualificationsExperience in the manufacture of small precision inertial sensors or similar devices.
Knowledge in methodology and testing of small inertial sensors or similar devices.
Experience working in a functional team production environment.
Experience implementing continuous improvement strategies to optimize manufacturing activities and reduce costs.
Desired SkillsExperience in cleanroom operations.
Experience with precision cleaning technologies.
Experience with electropolishing.
Experieince with electro-chemical machining.
Experience monitoring production metrics, analyzing data, and using it to make informed decisions and improve operations.
Pay InformationFull-Time Salary Range: $69400.00 - $128800.00

- For (Washington state applicants only) Non-represented full-time employees: accrue at least 10 hours per month of Paid Time Off (PTO) to be used for incidental absences and other reasons; receive at least 90 hours for holidays. Represented full time employees accrue 6.67 hours of Vacation per month; accrue up to 52 hours of sick leave annually; receive at least 96 hours for holidays. PTO, Vacation, sick leave, and holiday hours are prorated based on start date during the calendar year.
