Full Job Description
Halff has an open position for a Structural Engineer, with a Texas PE License, to join our growing Structural team in our Richardson office. This position is for an individual with at least 4 years of experience in Structural / Bridge Engineering interested in working on a variety of structural engineering projects. This position offers an excellent career development opportunity for someone looking to grow with Halff, with potential for not only business and personal growth, but ownership in the firm.

What you will do:
  • Will design a variety of complete structural engineering projects such as hydraulic structures, retaining walls, and vehicular bridges.
  • Will manage production of construction drawings for own work.
  • Will review contractor submittals during construction.
  • Will coordinate effort with clients as well as in-house engineers.
  • Will assist in training less experienced staff.
  • Will provide CAD assistance when necessary.

What you will need:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree.
  • Master's Degree in Civil/Architectural Engineering with a Structural emphasis or ABET accredited equivalent Engineering degree preferred.
  • 4+ years of experience in Structural Engineering Design.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) License in Texas.
  • MicroStation, Revit or AutoCAD training is a plus.
