Job Description
What you'll do- Deliver solutions within the Data Movement Product leveraging Managed File Transfer, Message Oriented Middleware and Enterprise Service Bus products.
- Be a part of a DevOps team that completely owns and supports their productDevelop API proxies using Apigee Edge and Microgateway.
- Responsible for installing, supporting and maintaining IBM DataPower Infrastructure
- Develop and maintain Automation tools for IBM DataPower gateway deployments
- Responsible for leading process and toolset implementations, enhancements and integrations, that will enable Continuous Integration/Deployment environments and workflows.
- Apply software engineering industry best practices to Data Movement applications and services. Maintain and enhance existing enterprise services, applications, and platforms using domain driven design and test-driven development.
- Troubleshoot complex issues; identify and implement solutions.
All you'll need for successMinimum Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent 3 years experience/training
- Experience working in Apigee Edge, Microgateway and Developer Portal
Preferred Qualifications- Education & Prior Job Experience- Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or 4 years equivalent experience/training
Skills, Licenses & CertificationsWell-rounded technical background in:
o Apigee Edge and Microgateway
• Combination of Development, Administration and Support experience in several of the following tools/platforms required:
o Cloud-based development: Kubernetes and micro-services
o Web Services: REST (JSON/WSDL/XML)
o Frameworks: Python, FastAPI, Typescript, Node.js
o Front-end: Angular, React
o Build/deployment tools: Git, Jest, Yarn
o Scripting: Python, Unix, SQL
o CI/CD: GitHub, Azure DevOps
o Infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
o API development
o GitHub, and developing GitHub Actions
• Well versed in SOA and RESTful services and consuming the services.
o Good understanding of Apigee Architecture
o Good experience in developing customized policies in Apigee
• Implementing Enterprise security using BasicAuth, oAuth, SSL and certificates
• Demonstrated growth mindset, enthusiastic about learning modern technologies quickly and applying the gained knowledge to address business problems.
• Experience in the following a plus:
o REST development
o Typescript/React
o Unit Testing frameworks
o Configuration and administration of continuous integration tools such as Azure
o Azure Cloud platform
o Containers technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes
o Infrastructure as code (Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, Ansible, Puppet)
o Continuous Delivery/Continuous Integration (GitHub Actions, TDD, Automated regression testing)
o GraphQL
