Full Job Description
Job Title: Engineer, RFIC Design

Job Duties: Design high-performance ICs using pSemi's UltraCMOS technology, contributing to product lines such as LNAs, PA controllers, Mixers, RF Switches, and Digital Step Attenuators. Work as a part of the team to direct the development of products during the entire product life cycle from product definition through product release to end-of-life. Encompass schematic capture, IC layout, simulation, package analysis, and design validation. Document all relevant product and design information to educate others on novel design techniques and provide guidance on product usage. Work with characterization engineers to define test plans, analyze performance data, and support production ATE development in collaboration with test engineers.

Required education: Master of Science or equivalent in Electrical Engineering or related.

Additional minimum requirements: academic semester-long coursework or 6 months of work experience in the following:
  1. RF design, RF switches, Low Noise Amplifiers, power amplifiers, mixers;
  2. Analog IC design, bandgap voltage references, low-drop out voltage regulators, operational amplifiers;
  3. IC fabrication and its impact on circuit performance;
  4. Cadence Virtuoso, ADS, Matlab;
  5. Lab measurement and equipment including Network and Spectrum analyzers, signal generators.

Salary range: $106,808-$130,000 / year
