Engineer, ProjectLocation: Belvidere, NJOnsiteAs a
Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing value add site projects from conception through implementation.
The Engineer will interface with Operations, Technology, other Engineers and Business Partners to complete projects on time and within budget. Drive optimization and improvement of the site by providing broad and in-depth project expertise for current processes and to guide and safeguard all design and engineering aspects of projects in a QESH compliant way.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain budget and promptly report all risks to project budget
- SHE oversight and monitoring of all contractors. Includes weekly SWP audits on projects in construction and all needed incident investigations, FMEAs, RCAs, etc.
- All necessary Trackwise items (MOCs, Action Items) as required for Project Start up
- Ensure all required validation protocols are written, approved, and implemented in projects in his/her responsibility
- Obtain and install into inventory all spare parts judged essential in the criticality review
- Formulate initial PM programs in the project
- Additional responsibilities as defined and provided by leadership.
You Bring:- BS Degree in Engineering with 5 years on the job experience
- SHE: In depth knowledge and hands on experience on relevant dsm-firmenich SHE requirements, knowledge of applicable site-specific safety aspects (e.g. dust explosions, PSM area) and knowledge of federal and state regulations.
- Knowledge of ISO Systems, ICH Q7A and cGMPs.
- Knowledge of Vitamin Forms & DSP processes, six sigma methodologies are desirable.
- Knowledge of project management
- Knowledge in SAP and SRM to control project cost and track spending
- Knowledge in project control management including costs and critical path development
- Familiar with contractor contracts and development of milestone
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary range: $66,000 - $121,700.
