  • Lead and contribute to mine design and improvement projects that enhance sequencing, productivity, and value delivery.
  • Use survey, drone, and operational data insights to optimize plans and ensure compliance with design and safety requirements.

About the role

We are seeking an Engineer 6 Mine Planning to join the Mine Planning team at Rio Tinto Kennecott 2s Bingham Canyon Mine.

In this role, you will contribute to short-range mine planning and production scheduling to optimize value and reduce operational risk. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure plans are practical, aligned, and safely executed while identifying opportunities to improve performance and productivity.
