Full Job Description
***This Engineering role can be filled at the Entry, Mid-level or Senior Engineer level. Please see minimum qualifications list below for each level*** Expected salary range: - Entry-Level - $87,000 - Mid-Level - $92,700 - $114,000 - Sr Level - $122,400- $154,000 Ranges are per year based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes bonus and 401K. Primary Purpose of Position Responsible for performing engineering and technical tasks, under direct supervision, in support of nuclear plant operations. Primary Duties and Accountabilities - Inspection program management - Ensuring the reliability of the safety related structural and material health of the reactor vessel, in addition to the safety related equipment necessary to ensure safe shutdown of the reactors - Establish and define the inspection strategy and advocate for resolution of issues identified - Ensure that work is performed up to IAW code and standards and provide interpretation and deviation guidance as appropriate - Assure all engineering products prepared are in accordance with applicable safety analyses, industry codes, and all regulatory requirements. - Perform engineering and technical tasks as assigned by supervision - Support engineering work functions. - Perform other job assignments and duties as directed by management or pursuant to company policy, including but not limited to emergency response, departmental coverage, call outs, and support of outage activities in positions outside the department. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Entry Level E01 Engineer - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) - Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Mid-level E02 Engineer - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 2 years of nuclear or related engineering experience - Maintain minimum access requirements or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS for Senior E03 Engineer - Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural, Electrical, Industrial, Mechanical or Nuclear) with 5 years of nuclear experience or related engineering experience - Maintain minimum access requirement or unescorted access requirements, as applicable, and favorable medical examination and/or testing in accordance with position duties Preferred Qualifications Highly prefer Mechanical, Chemical, or Materials Engineering degrees Inspection program management experience
