THE OPPORTUNITY:
Our Field Production Engineering team is currently seeking new graduates for the position of Engineering-in-Training (EIT) in Grande Prairie, Alberta and Dawson Creek, British Columbia. The successful candidate will take their technical knowledge gained in school, to learn hands on at a field-based level. The Engineer-in-Training will initially work as a Field Operator in our Field Operations group for approximately six months, gaining valuable hands-on experience in Field Operations. Following this, the EIT will work at the Grande Prairie or Dawson Creek office in the Well Servicing team for approximately two years, before specializing in a technical position and working in our head office located in Calgary, Alberta.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Field Operations
- Contribute to the safe and efficient operations of and routine maintenance of high-pressure gas wells and gathering systems
- Help monitor the field to ensure production and reliability meet targets and evaluate process conditions to achieve optimum throughput
- Work cross functionally with the construction and maintenance teams and perform minor maintenance and plant housekeeping as required
- Identify hazards and effectively communicate with team members
- Follow and apply the site's safe work procedures and the requirements of WHMIS, ABSA, and ASME codes as required
- Champion ARC's culture of safety by abiding by ARC's safety standards and reporting
Well Servicing
- Collaborate on well reviews to identify production optimization opportunities and assist in the planning, designing, and execution of these opportunities
- Evaluate projects and related economics for Optimization Uplift budget within the Field Production group to add volumes, and execute on projects identified
- Identify and support operating cost saving initiatives to improve operational efficiency of processing equipment and wells
- Coordinate, program, and execute well servicing activities on wells; including snubbing rigs, service rig work, coil tubing units, slickline units, and other associated services
- Support the Operations group for well and facility troubleshooting of artificial lifts, plunger lifts, SCADA, MOC, production issues, etc.
- Regulatory and HSE compliance for field production activities
WHAT YOU WILL BRING TO ARC:
- Engineering Degree from an accredited university in one of the following focused areas including Petroleum, Energy, Mechanical, or Chemical
- Registered Engineer-In-Training with APEGA
- Ability to relocate based on business needs

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
- While in Field Operations, the shift schedule for these roles is dependent on location and operational requirements, and when in Well Servicing, your work schedule will be Monday to Friday
- As these roles are considered safety sensitive, the successful candidates will be required to successfully complete drug and alcohol testing, and a fitness to work test
- The base salary range for these positions is $80,000 CAD to $88,000 CAD. The posted wage range is reflective of the qualifications associated with this specific advertisement. Exact salary/wage may vary based on qualifications, experience and skillset.
