Education, Experience and Skill Requirements• Bachelor's degree in engineering.
• 6 years of experience in civil engineering, municipal engineering, or a related engineering field.
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• Demonstrates strong analytical skills with the ability to define problems, evaluate data, and draw evidence-based conclusions.
- Ability to work in person, not remote.
Primary Job Duties• Conducts comprehensive reviews of plats, subdivision layouts, and site development plans to ensure compliance with applicable regulations and design standards.
• Broad knowledge of hydrologic and hydraulic engineering principles, practices, and methods, and their practical application
• Attend meetings on behalf of supervisors or commissioners.
• Review hydrologic and hydraulic modeling submittals to support development plan applications and ensure compliance with applicable standards and regulations
• Perform hydraulic and hydrologic modeling using specialized engineering software
• Performs other job responsibilities as assigned.
