Civil/Structural Engineer III to support major Power and Industrial projects in Charlotte, NC. This role serves as a
Responsible Engineer for assigned design tasks and supports the design and analysis of steel, concrete, and foundation systems for industrial and power generation facilities.
The Engineer III will lead portions of project execution, coordinate with multidisciplinary teams, and develop safe, economical, and constructible engineering solutions throughout all phases of project delivery.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering from an ABET-accredited university
- 4+ years of civil/structural engineering experience supporting industrial, energy, or power generation projects
- Experience serving as a lead engineer or Responsible Engineer on design tasks
- Strong understanding of AISC and ACI design codes
- Experience with STAAD.Pro, RISA, Enercalc, or similar structural analysis software
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to work in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications- Master's degree in Structural Engineering or related discipline
- Professional Engineer (PE) license
- Structural Engineer (SE) license
- EPC, heavy industrial, or power generation project experience
- Construction support and field engineering experience
