We have an exciting opportunity for an Engineering Analyst to support its Power & Controls organization. We are looking for an organized, detail-oriented, and creative problem-solver with a collaborative mindset and a bias for action. In this role, you will support the Product Performance Team and will be responsible for the reporting of and management of reliability data on Collins Aerospace components.
This will be an integral member of the team, responsible for coordinating the flow of data from our Suppliers. We are looking for strong communication skills, attention to details, understanding of data management, and experience using MS Excel.
This position will sit at our
Aguadilla, PR location. You must be residing in Puerto Rico at the time of starting employment. Relocation is not offered.
This role is categorized as
hybrid, with 3 days onsite and 2 days remote following the schedule assigned by the Manager.
What YOU will do:- Point of contact for coordination of data flow with vendors (external facing)
- Review the formatting of the data to make sure it aligns with reliability data requirements (Spec2000)
- Perform data quality checks
- Discuss with vendors and plan for correct execution of data flow
- Understand context of technical data and how to appropriately normalize data into business metrics
- Statistical analysis to quantify completeness and validity
- Coordination with overall team for any data needs
- Support team with any ad-hoc data related tasks
Qualifications you must have:- Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience
- Demonstrated professional experience communicating in English (verbal and written).

Qualifications We Prefer:- Customer facing aerospace industry experience and working knowledge of aerospace product reliability data and calculations is a plus
- Experience navigating competing priorities, achieving the highest level of engagement, and delivering successful outcomes in critical situations
- Experience with lean principles (Six Sigma, CORE, ACE) and implementation of process controls for delivery and quality
- Knowledge/Experience in Agile methodologies
- Strong communication skills and attention to details
- Experience with data management in MS Excel
- Knowledge in visualization tools
- Knowledge of Database and SQL
