Qualifications

• Bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a related technical discipline; minimum two years of engineering experience (education may be substituted with equivalent experience).
• Strong grasp of engineering concepts, principles, and safety regulations in a technical environment.
• Ability to quickly learn and apply new concepts while managing tasks efficiently.
• Proficient in communication, documentation, and presentation skills, capable of working both independently and in a team.
• Experience in performing Finite Element Analysis (FEA) on composite structures essential.
• Knowledge of aeroelastic loads development and flight control systems is beneficial.
• Familiarity with industry-standard software for loads analysis (e.g., NASTRAN, ABAQUS) and programming tools (e.g., MATLAB, Visual Basic).

Responsibilities

• Support the design of new and existing products and integrate new payloads onto current platforms.
• Perform loads and dynamics analysis on aircraft components and systems.
• Develop design and repeated loads for air vehicle operations during flight and landing.
• Conduct flight loads analysis using aeroelastic flight loads models and calculate loads across the aircraft.
• Execute landing and ground loads analysis through hand calculations and simulation techniques.
• Perform normal modes and frequency response dynamics analysis, including vibration and shock environmental criteria development.
• Develop aeroelastic models for flutter and aeroservoelastic analysis using ground vibration test data.
