The Position:AMEWAS is seeking a highly motivated and talented Engineer (ECSTIM)-Journeyman to support Integrated Combat Environment. The salary range of this position is $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 and is commensurate with experience. This position is not eligible for remote work; on-site support is required.

A typical day as an Engineer (ECSTIM)-Journeyman may include:- Works alongside a team of electrical engineers/engineering technicians
- Develops engineering procedures and controls
- Manages project efforts and takes the lead in problem resolution
- Interfaces with program contractors, vendors and government representatives regarding the technical aspects of engineering projects, test scheduling, planning and test conduct
- Learns how to troubleshoot, prepare for testing and use a sophisticated, state-of-the-art RF stimulator
- Identifies system malfunctions and works to resolve the issue(s) with team
Must-haves:- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering
- 3 years of relevant work experience
- Experience with Linux operating systems
- Experience with active and passive RF components
- Experience using electronic test equipment (signal generator, network and spectrum analyzer, RF amplifier, oscilloscope, etc.)
- Minimum clearance required to apply (candidates who do not currently hold the required clearance will not be considered): N/A
- Additional Accesses: The ability to obtain and maintain the DoD security clearance eligibility and/or additional security access requirements necessary to perform the duties of the position, as required by the contract
Desired Skills:- Experience with MATLAB
- Strong understanding of RF Theory
- Experience with RF stimulator/simulators
- Completed coursework in Radio Frequency (RF) engineering

Physical Environment and Working Conditions:The physical environment for this position requires the employee to work in an indoor laboratory and anechoic chamber for a majority of their day, on site versus in an office. The physical environment also requires the employee to work in an office, sitting in a cubicle or at a desk, looking at a computer for part of the day.
The employee is required to stand, walk and/or move throughout the workday, often bending over and lifting items up to approximately 50 lbs.
