Contact:THE POSITIONThe Engineer Assistant performs civil engineering work in development, design, and construction of civil and/or traffic engineering projects. This is an entry level position within the professional Civil Engineer series. As an Engineer Assistant you would use judgment and initiative to perform common engineering projects, which include conducting inspections, checking design calculations, and analyzing survey information. As experience is acquired, you would be expected to receive only occasional instruction or assistance as new or unusual situations arise.
