Responsibilities:

  • Plan, synchronize, and coordinate Key Leader Engagements (KLEs) to support campaign objectives, operational priorities, and commander's intent across the operational environment.


  • Integrate KLE activities with ongoing Information Operations (IO), Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), military operations, and partner engagements to maximize operational effects and unity of effort.


  • Develop engagement strategies, themes, messages, talking points, and engagement objectives tailored to key stakeholders, partners, influencers, and decision-makers.


  • Maintain awareness of operational activities, information environment conditions, and stakeholder dynamics to ensure KLEs are synchronized with current and planned operations.


  • Coordinate with joint, interagency, multinational, partner nation, and commercial stakeholders to deconflict engagement activities and identify opportunities for collaboration.


  • Track, assess, and report engagement outcomes, stakeholder responses, and emerging opportunities or risks to inform future planning and decision-making.


  • Conduct stakeholder mapping and relationship analysis to identify key audiences, centers of influence, decision-makers, and engagement opportunities.


  • Develop and maintain engagement synchronization matrices, battle rhythm products, executive summaries, and operational reporting to support situational awareness and campaign integration.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of experience supporting Key Leader Engagements (KLE), Information Operations (IO), Operations in the Information Environment (OIE), public affairs, diplomacy, civil affairs, or related operational planning activities.


  • Demonstrated experience coordinating and synchronizing engagements across military, interagency, partner nation, and multinational organizations.


  • Experience developing engagement plans, communication strategies, talking points, executive briefings, and stakeholder engagement products for senior leaders.


  • Proven ability to analyze stakeholder relationships, operational environments, and audience dynamics to support engagement planning and operational objectives.


  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience advising senior leaders and facilitating collaboration among diverse stakeholders.


Desired Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in International Relations, Strategic Communications, Political Science, National Security Studies, Public Policy, or a related field.


  • Experience supporting Combatant Commands, Joint Task Forces, interagency organizations, partner nation engagements, or strategic competition initiatives.


  • Demonstrated experience integrating KLEs with influence activities, information environment operations, campaign planning, behavioral analysis, or whole-of-government engagement efforts.

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.
