Job Description
Successful Applicant will support and advise PAE Mission Systems, Aegis Test Manager, and Aegis Test Officer in Pascagoula Mississippi as issues arise.This includes but is not limited to:
a.) Provide guidance to the ATT and PAE Mission Systems senior management including but not limited to, ship construction quality, combat system testing issues, schedule adherance, and preventative maintenance of GFE.
b.) Evaluate construction progress against US Navy approved construction schedules and monitor shipbuilder progress, reporting issues to PAE Mission Systems and ATO/ATM.
c.) Conduct special investigations and independent assessments for emergent issues.
d.) Support functional areas and meetings such as Mission Readiness Panels, Ship Program Reviews, sea trials, interface with shipbuilder and SUPSHIPGC.
Required Skills and Education
25 or more years experience in US Navy of which at least 2 years of US Navy experience aboard Flight III DDG 51 class destroyers.
Ability to perform in a team environment and have working relationship with SUPSHIP GC, Huntington Ingalls Pascagoula, PAE Maritime and PAE Mission Systems.
Required education: BS,BA or equivalent college degree.
Good Communications skills both oral and written.
Knowledgeable with Microsoft Office products
