Job Description

Given our continued growth, we have immediate roles available for a highly motivated Hardware Lead to join our Production Support and Sustainment team as a HW Lead supporting the sustainment of one of our ECS Product Lines. In this role, you will have a chance to grow your skills supporting the continued production and sustainment of various complex microwave modules, circuit card assemblies, and subsystems utilized across the F-15 Platform. You will have the opportunity to work closely with cutting-edge hardware fielded on the most advanced Military Platforms.
Activities day to day will vary and may include:
* Assessing design updates to existing designs
* Review and technical assessment of Diminishing Material Supply (DMS) issues for both Prime Mission Equipment and Test Solution
* Lead the investigation into field return hardware
* Own the overall HW program content, delegating tasking to less experienced engineers and technicians as required
* Technical management of subcontractors
* Working with hardware suppliers
* Supporting production and sustainment issues in assembly, test/debug, quality and managing overall workload of the HW team supporting production
* Working in partnership with a cross-functional team to ensure on time deliveries of quality products to support the War Fighter.

Required Skills and Education

* An Electrical or Mechanical Engineering Bachelor's degree and 10+ years' experience working on RF/Microwave and digital products preferably in the defense industry
* Experience testing and troubleshooting complex EW systems
* Experience leading a cross-functional engineering tea.
* Experience supporting a production environment
* Experience with the sustainment phase of the product lifecycle.
* Motivated self-starter with leadership skills and ability to effectively work in a team environment
* Excellent problem-solving skills, judgment, and analytical capability.
* Ability to close on discrete tasking in a timely manner and lead others to closure - Own the Design
* Strong technical writing and verbal communication skills.
* Active or previously held Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED

Preferred Skills and Education

* Active Secret Clearance HIGHLY PREFERRED
* Experience working in a manufacturing environment
* Experience in RF/Microwave subsystem, module and circuit design and development
* Experience gathering and analyzing test data to assess trends and develop yield improvement plan
* Experience with Earned Value Management and Control Account Management
