Job DescriptionThis role will provide electrical engineering support to a dynamic engineering development team, decomposing test requirements, designing, integrating, and selling-off prime mission equipment and test stands, designing and executing first unit test, design verification test, integration, transitioning to full rate production, and sustaining complex digital, analog, RF, and optical circuit cards and modules.
The successful candidate must possess strong technical aptitude, communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally within the hardware organization and with other engineering disciplines/functions. Must be able to exercise discretion and independent judgment in technical areas.
This position may include the following activities:
- Design of analog, power, digital, and RF circuits
- Design of complex interconnects, cables, and test fixtures
- Design of environmental controls for Environmental Stress Screening
- Agile hardware development, risk-reduction prototyping, and requirements-driven design and verification
- Knowledge of engineering development processes for aero/defense industry, including designing and testing to MIL-STD-461
- State-of-the-art electrical engineering design/analysis/sim tools
- Strong "hands-on" laboratory experience with instrumentation, equipment, and processes
- Working experience with Interface standards including military/avionics communication buses (i.e. RS-85,Mil-Std-1553B, Ethernet)
- Interface with Engineering, Operations, Quality and other supporting functions to drive defect resolution to root cause
- Generate and review the technical content of test procedures, drawings, engineering specifications, reports, Engineering Change Orders, and other documentation
- Provide training and support to technicians and manufacturing personnel as required
- Support Root Cause and Corrective Action activities

Required Skills and Education- Typically, a Bachelor's Degree, 5 years work experience, or equivalent
