Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in energy control or electrical safety in mission-critical settings like data centers and hospitals.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, NFPA 70E, and other safety standards.
• Experience developing and managing lockout/tagout (LOTO) programs.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working independently under pressure.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and relevant safety technology tools.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Energy Control Program and LOTO Policy, including planning, training, and compliance monitoring.
• Support trade contractors to ensure compliance with NFPA 70E and OSHA standards.
• Review and validate energization plans and lockout/tagout procedures for safe system activation.
• Investigate incidents related to energy control and implement corrective actions.
• Facilitate alignment between energy management and installation/commissioning work.
• Conduct audits of the Energy Control Program and collaborate with contractors to address non-compliance.
