Position Description: The EMS Architect designs and maintains the technological backbone of the program-ensuring seamless data exchange with customer systems. Their work enables real time data accuracy, secure interoperability, and scalable exam management. They ensure every exam, diagnostic result, and DBQ moves through the system flawlessly.
This position is located in our Fairfax, VA or Lafayette, LA office; however, a hybrid working model is acceptable.
Your future duties and responsibilities: Architect EMS platform, portals, modules, and workflows
Lead API development, event based integration, and IEPD alignment
Oversee data exchange with VBMS, DAS, EMS, and other customer systems
Manage DevSecOps, release cycles, and UAT coordination
Support cybersecurity compliance and performance monitoring
Required qualifications to be successful in this role: Bachelor's degree
8-10 years systems architecture or integration engineering
AWS Solutions Architect Associate
Experience with FHIR/XML, APIs, and federal system integrations
Desired qualifications/non essential skills required:
SAFe DevSecOps Practitioner
Experience with healthcare interoperability

Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $89,600.00 $218,200.00.
