Essential Functions and Responsibilities

  • Employer & Market Development
    • Conduct daily outbound prospecting (calls, email, social, site visits) to hospitals, ambulatory surgery centers, imaging centers, and allied‑health employers within a 50‑mile radius of the Ontario campus; expand to additional markets as needed.
    • Build targeted employer lists using labor‑market analytics and alumni placement data; maintain a 150 account active funnel.
    • Present ACC’s programs, graduate competencies, and hire‑ready value proposition to potential employers.
    • Negotiate partnership agreements, externship‑to‑hire pipelines, and preferred‑provider status.
  • Recruiter & Hiring‑Manager Relations
    • Serve as primary point of contact for employer partners: screen requisitions, submit talent slates, coordinate interviews, and facilitate feedback loops.
    • Conduct quarterly business reviews with Tier‑1 partners to measure placement performance, satisfaction, and forecast hiring needs.
  • Student & Graduate Placement Support
    • Collaborate with Career Services and Program Directors to align outreach with graduation calendars; host weekly job huddles to match open requisitions with eligible graduates.
    • Coach graduates on employer expectations, application etiquette, and interview preparation specific to surgical and radiology environments.
  • Data, Reporting & Compliance
    • Record all activity, contacts, and outcomes in Salesforce (or designated CRM) within 24hours.
    • Produce weekly, monthly, and term reports on lead generation, submission‑to‑hire ratios, placement rates, and accreditation metrics; analyze trends and adjust strategy.
    • Adhere to all ABHES standards and institutional policies governing employment verification and placement documentation.
  • Additional Responsibilities
    • Partner with the Clinical Education team to convert clinical sites into employment partners.
    • Lead and participate in on‑campus career fairs, virtual hiring events, employer panels, and Program Advisory Board meetings.
    • Assist with various clinical-related operations such as collecting and maintaining appropriate documentation, coordinating student clinical orientation, ensuring quality clinical education, student scheduling/assignments, etc.
    • Attend community workforce events.
    • May perform other duties based on the needs of the business.

 

Preferred Education, Certifications and Licensures

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Experience in recruiting preferred.

Required Education, Certifications, and Licensures

  • High school diploma required.
  • Active CA driver’s license.

Required Experience and Skills

  • 3-5years of success in business development, staffing/recruiting, or employer relations within healthcare; proven placement results with clinical roles.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain strong partnerships with employers, particularly in the healthcare industry (e.g., hospitals, clinics, skilled nursing facilities).
  • Experience working with educational institutions, healthcare schools or healthcare staffing agencies.
