Full Job Description
Employee Relations and Investigations Specialist, Mid
The Opportunity:

We are seeking a highly motivated, solutions-oriented Employee Relations Investigator to join our corporate investigations team. This role is ideal for someone with a strong foundation in EEO and employment law-based work who is ready to take ownership of complex, sensitive employee matters. The ideal candidate will bring proactive thinking, independent problem solving, and the ability to move cases efficiently and effectively through the investigative life cycle while maintaining the highest standards of fairness and compliance. This investigator is expected to propose solutions, flag risks, and help shape outcomes by thinking critically, asking the right questions, and demonstrating initiative. Due to the nature of work performed within this facility, U.S. citizenship is required.

How You'll Contribute:
  • Independently conduct internal investigations into employee concerns including harassment, discrimination, retaliation, misconduct and policy violations.
  • Interview employees, analyze facts, assess evidence, and identify inconsistencies in gaps in information while maintaining neutrality and fairness.
  • Draft fact-based, structured investigation summaries or memos as needed, that clearly outline findings, evidence, and recommendations.
  • Proactively identify legal, reputational, or policy risk during the investigative process and elevate issues timely for appropriate resolution.
  • Ensure all cases are advanced expeditiously and in alignment with service-level agreements and key performance indicators (KPIs), particularly given the risk-sensitive nature of these matters.
  • Demonstrate ownership and accountability by initiating next steps, proposing case strategies, and helping business partners take action where necessary.
  • Apply standard operating procedures (SOPs) consistently and contribute feedback for continuous improvement of investigative processes.
  • Collaborate with Legal, HR, Compliance, and Security teams as needed to ensure alignment and timely resolutions.
  • Maintain accurate case files and documentation in compliance with company standards and audit expectations.

You Have:
  • Experience in employment law principles, EEOC guidelines, and HR compliance
  • Experience drafting clear, concise and defensible reports
  • Knowledge of organizational dynamics, confidentiality standards, and risk mitigation strategies
  • Ability to conduct objective, fair, and through investigations with minimal oversight
  • Bachelor's degree and 5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations, or 6+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:
  • 5+ years of experience conducting workplace investigations in large, complex, matrixed organizations
  • Possession of excellent verbal and written communication skills
