Employee Health/ Infection Control Nurse

What You'll Do

As part of the Infection Prevention Team, you'll support hospital-wide employee health, infection prevention, surveillance, and regulatory compliance efforts to help keep our patients, staff, and community safe.
  • Conduct pre-employment and annual health screenings, including TB testing, color vision testing, N95 fit-testing, and employee education.
  • Administer and maintain accurate records of required and seasonal immunizations, including Influenza, COVID-19, and Hepatitis B.
  • Screen ill employees and perform point-of-care testing for Influenza, COVID-19, strep, and other applicable infections.
  • Support infection prevention education, PPE training, survey readiness, construction rounds, and organization-wide infection control initiatives.
  • Assist with infection surveillance, data collection, regulatory reporting, and compliance with OSHA, CDC, CMS, and state and county health requirements.
  • Perform a variety of tasks and other duties as assigned.

Who We're Looking For

We're looking for a Registered Nurse who brings strong clinical skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to supporting employee health and infection prevention across GRHD.
  • Graduation from an approved nursing program required.
  • Current Colorado DORA Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing required.
  • Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification required upon hire and must be maintained throughout GRHD employment.
  • AHA ACLS and PALS certifications required within 6 months of initial employment and must be maintained throughout GRHD employment.
  • One year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting preferred.
