Full Job Description
Account Executive

A day in the life.

This is a hybrid position, based out of our various listed regional office locations, that may require in person client facing meetings.

As an Account Executive on the Employee Health & Benefits team, you will lead day-to-day client strategy and service delivery in partnership with the Producer. You will oversee annual planning, renewals and marketing, vendor negotiations, and the quality and timeliness of client deliverables. You will guide the account team on meeting strategy, financial and claims

reporting, contribution modelling, wellness initiatives and system updates, while managing escalations and ensuring compliance requirements are met. This role requires executive-level client communication and presentations, strong technical accuracy, and the judgment to identify opportunities to expand coverage and services in accordance with market trends and

regulations.

As our Account Executive on the Employee Benefits team, you will:
  • Lead overall client strategy, engagement and retention in partnership with the Producer, including the annual service plan, calendar, and meeting cadence.
  • Own renewal and marketing strategy, including proposal evaluation, plan/rate comparisons, and recommendations for complex lines (e.g., self-funded/ASO, stop- loss, pharmacy benefit management, disability, and multi-state accounts).
  • Lead vendor negotiations and coordinate internal resources to execute all client deliverables on time and to quality standards.
  • Oversee financial and claims reporting and analysis (e.g., monthly claims, high-cost claimant analysis) and communicate results and implications to clients.
  • Develop and deliver contribution modelling and budget scenarios to support client decision-making.
  • Coordinate open enrolment planning and execution (pre and post enrolment), including meetings, communications, and internal readiness.
  • Ensure compliance deliverables are completed (audits, testing, required filings/fees) and implement compliance dashboards as applicable.
  • Manage escalated/complex service issues; keep the Producer informed of significant client changes, risks, and opportunities.
  • Identify and promote additional lines of coverage and solutions as appropriate to the client.
