Valley Baptist Physician Network is seeking a Hip & Joint Orthopedic Surgeon in Harlingen, TX. Join an established group with experienced providers in General, Hand, Trauma, and Sports Medicine. Valley Baptist Medical Center is a highly regarded 586-bed acute care hospital with a stellar reputation for service and quality! Come and enjoy year-round semi-tropical temperatures while making a big impact on the community!

Highlights:
  • Office located in MOB is connected to Valley Baptist Hospital, walking distance to Hosp OR
  • 2-3 days in clinic and OR block times, able to adjust as needed
  • Clinic Hours M-F 8a-5pm
  • 70/30% IP/OP
  • Est 3-5 call days/month (includes General Ortho Call)
  • Practice includes Ortho Trauma provider that provides coverage @ VBMC
  • Dedicated Ortho/Trauma floor

Candidate Requirements:
  • Board Eligible or Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery
  • Fellowship training or extensive experience in Hip & Joint
  • Replacement preferred
  • Trauma Certification is a plus

This position carries privileges at Valley Baptist Medical Center - Harlingen, a 586-bed Level II Trauma Center and regional leader in comprehensive care, with the potential for privileges at our sister facility in Brownsville.

Cardiology Resources: Four Cath Lab Suites with cardiac, EP, and neuro capabilities
Advanced Technology: Recently added an additional da Vinci surgical robot, Brainlab computer navigation system, AIRO mobile intraoperative CT, and Cirq robotic surgical arm - the first to bring minimally invasive robotic spine surgery to the Rio Grande Valley
