Full Job Description
Position Highlights
  • Full-time, employed position based at Valley Baptist Medical Center in Harlingen, TX
  • Clinic located in the Medical Arts Pavilion - directly connected to the hospital and Cath Lab
  • Monday-Friday clinic schedule; approximately 25 patients per day
  • 10-15 procedures per week initially
  • Low call burden: approximately 3 days/month, shared across a 10-provider cardiology panel
  • Full spectrum of IC scope: diagnostic and interventional cardiac procedures, device implantation and management, structural heart disease, arrhythmias, heart failure, and peripheral vascular disease
  • 4 Cath Lab suites with Cardiac, EP, and Neuro capabilities
  • Da Vinci XI robotic surgical system and Cerner EMR on-site
  • Access to an active clinical research department
  • Optional teaching opportunities through UT Rio Grande Valley
