- Dedicated staff and specially trained nurses in providing emergency adult and pediatric care, as well as in trauma and resuscitation

Responsibilities- Evaluate, interpret and coordinate information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve

- Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills
Allen Hospital- Shift duration varies
- Staffing Model: Physician coverage 40 hours daily, APP coverage 36 hours daily
- APP: 0600-1800, 1800-0600 and 1200-2400
- Variety of shifts per day
- 204 bed Hospital with access to all specialties
- 31 Bed ED
- Level 3 Trauma Center
- 2-dedicated trauma rooms
- 5 bed restricted access behavioral health area
- Designated primary stroke center
- Average 98 ED visits daily, 36,000 annually
Marshalltown Hospital- Shift duration: 12 hours
- Staffing Model: Physician coverage 24 hours daily, APP coverage 24 hours daily
- 70 Bed Hospital
- 16 Bed ED including 4 ligature safe rooms for behavioral health patients
- Level 4 Trauma Center
- Average 55 ED visits daily
- Hospital based ambulance service
- On call- specialties include Surgery, Ortho, and Podiatry
- RT available 24/7
Qualifications- MD or DO
- Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine residency trained physician
- Eligible to work in the United States
- Hold current and unrestricted state and federal license to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate
- Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
