Overview

UnityPoint Health is actively recruiting for an Emergency Medicine Advanced Practitioner to join our team in the Quad Cities

Responsibilities

  • Full time position; 1872 hours per year
  • Practice in a variety of locations: Bettendorf, IA - Muscatine, IA - Moline, IL - Rock Island, IL
  • Shift duration varies by location
  • Ability to work as a team member to improve the health of the people and communities we serve
  • Evaluates, interprets and coordinates information to make decisions and recommendations regarding patient care
  • Patient-focused, friendly and willing to collaborate in a team environment
  • Excellent communication (written and verbal), analytical and problem-solving skills


Qualifications

  • Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
  • Board Certified
  • Emergency Medicine experience preferred
  • Hold an unrestricted medical license in the states of Iowa and Illinois
  • Hold current and unrestricted state and federal authority to prescribe and administer medications as necessary or appropriate to the Advanced Practitioners field of practice
  • Eligible to work in the United States


We Offer

  • The position offers shift-based compensation, with $65.00 per hour for day shifts and $80.00 per hour for night shifts. Additionally there are weekend shift differentials and a quarterly performance incentive.
    • Specific offers are determined by various factors, such as experience, education, skills, certifications, internal equity, and other business needs. Employees typically do not start at the top of the range, though compensation depends on an individual's qualifications. The pay range does not include other forms of incentives which may include bonuses or differential pay, or other forms of compensation or benefits that may be applicable to this role.
