Job Summary:
HCA Florida JFK Hospital Main Campus ED is currently seeking a Full-time APP (NP/PA) with Emergency Medicine experience, for our busy Emergency Department along the Florida Atlantic Coast in Palm Beach County.
Qualifications:
Ideal candidate would have at least 2 years of ED Experience as an APP. Must have DEA and all up to date certifications. On average where they see around 88,000 annual patient visits through the ED. There is 72 hours of physician coverage each day and 56 hours of APP coverage. It will be a mix of days, nights and weekends and 120 hours a month.

About the Facility:
The 78-bed emergency department rooms are equipped with the most advanced resources for examining, stabilizing, treating, and monitoring patients. There is also an adjacent 12-bed fast-track area and a 6-bed behavioral health unit. The hospital is one of three hospitals in the county designated as a Cardiac Alert Receiving Facility and has a Certified Comprehensive Stroke Center and Certified Chest Pain Center.
Our main campus in Atlantis is a 558-bed acute care medical and surgical facility known for its comprehensive services including 24-Hour Emergency Services, Cardiovascular Care, Cancer Care, Breast Care, Neurosciences, Stroke Care, General, Minimally Invasive & Robotic Surgery, Orthopedic Care, Spine Care, Bariatrics, Sleep Disorders, Wound Management, Behavioral Health and Obstetrics.
We also offer two off-site emergency rooms in Palm Beach Gardens and West Boynton Beach. These facilities offer 24-hour care for emergent conditions in adults and children, providing the same emergency treatment as our hospital-based ERs, just closer to home.
