Lead and develop a high-performing Embedded Software team, driving the design and delivery of innovative Linux-based embedded solutions for next-generation products. Ensure technical excellence through sound architectural decisions, high software quality standards, and effective execution, while fostering team growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Contribute directly to the development of embedded systems, balancing hands-on technical leadership with people management responsibilities.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and mentor a team of embedded software engineers, fostering collaboration and continuous improvement
  • Drive technical strategy and architectural decisions for Linux-based embedded platforms
  • Plan and coordinate development activities, ensuring alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards
  • Contribute hands-on to design, development, and debugging of complex embedded software
  • Ensure best practices in coding, code reviews, testing, and CI/CD processes
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (hardware, system engineering, QA, product management)
  • Manage technical risks, support problem resolution, and drive root cause analysis
  • Monitor and improve system performance, reliability, and maintainability


Requirements:

Education: Master's degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Electronics

Languages: Italian,English fluent

Experience: Solid experience working in Linux environments; Experience inleadingsoftware development team.

Technical Requirements
  • Strong experience in embedded software development (5+ years)
  • Strong knowledge of Linux embedded systems: Linux kernel, drivers, and system internals
  • Strong programming skills in C/C++
  • Solid experience in Yocto, Buildroot, or similar build systems
  • Experience with debugging tools (gdb, strace, perf, etc.)
  • Familiarity with hardware interfaces (SPI, I2C, UART, USB, Ethernet)
  • Experience with Git and modern development workflows (CI/CD)
  • Good understanding of performance optimization and resource constraints
