Job Requirements What You Will Do:- Design, develop, and maintain display drivers for Qualcomm Snapdragon-based AR/XR and wearable platforms.
- Develop and enhance Android/Linux kernel-space display drivers utilizing the DRM/KMS framework.
- Integrate and optimize display interfaces including MIPI DSI and QSPI for high-performance display subsystems.
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, BSP, and application teams to support display bring-up and system integration.
- Debug and resolve display-related issues across software and hardware layers, including signal integrity, timing, and communication problems.
- Work closely with Android display framework components, including SurfaceFlinger, to ensure seamless display performance.
- Optimize display latency, power consumption, and thermal performance for wearable and AR form factors.
- Support display panel characterization, validation, and production deployment activities.
- Utilize oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and MIPI protocol analyzers to identify and resolve hardware and interface issues.
- Contribute to architecture discussions, technical reviews, and the adoption of next-generation display technologies.
- Drive performance tuning and reliability improvements for low-latency AR/XR display pipelines.
What You Will Bring:- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in embedded software development with a strong focus on display technologies.
- Hands-on experience with Qualcomm Snapdragon platforms, preferably AR1, XR2, or Snapdragon mobile processors.
- Expert knowledge of display communication protocols, particularly MIPI DSI and QSPI.
- Proven experience developing Android/Linux kernel-space drivers and working with DRM/KMS frameworks.
- Strong understanding of Android display architecture and SurfaceFlinger.
- Advanced programming skills in C and C++ for low-level embedded software development.
- Experience working in Linux and/or RTOS-based environments.
- Strong hardware debugging skills using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and protocol analyzers.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities with a systematic debugging approach.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills in cross-functional engineering environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Qualcomm development tools such as QPST and QFIL.
- Familiarity with Micro-LED, Micro-OLED, and optical waveguide display technologies.
- Knowledge of power management and thermal optimization techniques for wearable devices.
- Experience with AR/XR rendering optimizations, including Asynchronous Time Warp (ATW) and Foveated Rendering.
- Prior experience in smart glasses, AR/VR/XR devices, or advanced display systems.
Pay Range: $120K - $140K

Work Requirements:This role is considered an on-site position located in
Fremont, CA- You must be able to commute to and from the location with your own transportation arrangements to meet the required working hours.
