POSITION OVERVIEW

The Product Safety and Security (PS&S) Analyst II is a specialist focused on identifying any residual PS&S risk of any assigned product or process.

This position requires working onsite in Zeeland, MI and will not be remote or hybrid.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

  • Deliver assessed PS&S risks and problems, which is accomplished by:
    • Facilitating PS&S system, hardware and software design analysis.
    • Assessing the existing PS&S risk level for all system elements and interfaces
    • Reporting residual risks and required additional controls identified in the PS&S analysis.
  • Perform PS&S analysis on events & systems, which is accomplished by:
    • Monitoring external PS&S event sources and assessing the relevance for GENTEX products.
    • Analyzing product events in the field to identify any PS&S root causes.
  • Other duties as assigned

WHAT TO BRING

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in cybersecurity or information security roles.
  • Comprehension of the PS&S event sources, vision hardware and software and PS&S analysis methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.


WHAT WILL HELP

  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, CEH).
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., ISO21434, ISO27001).
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
