The Role:We are looking for our next Elevator Manager to join our team at the Stockport, IA location. The Elevator Manager is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the Country Elevator(s), including originating and merchandising corn and soybeans, maintaining a compliant hedge position, and developing strong farmer/customer relationships. As this is a remote site, the Elevator Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, ensuring daily operational excellence and compliance with all Roquette standards.

in Stockport, IACompensation:The current salary range for this role is estimated to be $88,065-$119,200. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance-based incentive compensation. The specific compensation offered to a candidate will be influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, qualifications, experience, and location.
What You'll Do:- Independently manage and direct all work associated with safe and efficient elevator operations.
- Originate and merchandise grain to meet budget volume and profitability targets.
- Develop and maintain strong public relations with the local farmer client base.
- Manage all contracts, grain accounting, and payments for the elevator.
- Monitor daily long/short positions to effectively control grain handling, storage, and transportation.
- Procure and manage all logistics related to grain storage and transportation.
- Establish and implement short-term goals consistent with long-term growth plans, including facility, equipment, and personnel.
- Supervise and develop full-time and seasonal employees, ensuring adherence to safety and Roquette procedures.
- Oversee site maintenance needs and projects to ensure equipment functions properly and safely.
What You'll Need: Education:
- BS/BA in Agriculture Business/Economics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. '
Experience
- 2-3+ years of combined production agriculture and elevator management experience.
- 2-3 years of supervisory experience.
- 5-7 years of grain operations management/marketing experience.
Work Schedule:- Full-time, Monday-Friday, with extended hours including weekends during harvest.
- Works half of Roquette holidays when CBOT is open.
Travel:- Primarily local during the business day, with some out-of-area and overnight travel expected.
