Position Overview:
  • Provide specialized instruction and academic support to elementary students with diverse learning needs in resource and self-contained classroom settings.
  • Develop and implement individualized lesson plans and instructional strategies aligned with student goals and learning objectives.
  • Collaborate with educators, families, and support teams to monitor progress and support positive student outcomes.
  • Foster an inclusive, structured classroom environment that supports academic, social, and emotional growth.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Special Education or related field (Master's preferred)
  • Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with LBS1 endorsement
  • Experience teaching special education students in elementary resource or self-contained classroom settings preferred
