WORK YEAR: 205 Days Per Year
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR MAKING APPLICATION:
As a prerequisite for making application for the position of Elementary Principal, interested persons must hold the Bachelor's and Master's Degree from an accredited college or university and be eligible for an Elementary Principal or a Building Level Administrator certificate issued by the Rhode Island State Department of Education.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates will be judged on the basis of qualifications for the position. The person whose qualifications are considered to be best among the candidates shall be appointed to the position. Among the qualifications to be considered are: previous experiences in and outside the field of education; educational background; professional activities and involvement; knowledge of educational issues and problems, ability to express one's self and to articulate issues and concerns; personality.
