Primary Responsibilities

The Principal will:

Provide strong spiritual and instructional leadership for the school.

Foster an authentically Catholic culture rooted in faith, prayer, and academic excellence.

Support, supervise, mentor, and evaluate faculty and staff.

Ensure a rigorous and engaging academic program.

Promote student achievement and personal growth.

Build strong relationships with parents and the parish community.

Collaborate closely with the Pastor in advancing the school's mission and strategic priorities.

Assist with enrollment growth, marketing, and community engagement.

Oversee daily school operations in accordance with diocesan policies and state regulations.

Maintain a safe, welcoming, and nurturing learning environment.

Requirements

Qualifications

Preferred candidates will possess:

Active, practicing Catholic in good standing with the Church.

Master's degree in Educational Leadership, Administration, or a related field (Doctorate preferred but not required).

Connecticut Administrator Certification (092) or eligibility to obtain certification.

Successful experience in Catholic or independent school leadership preferred.

Demonstrated excellence in instructional leadership and faculty development.

Strong organizational, financial, and interpersonal skills.

Commitment to the mission of Catholic education.
