The Farmington Public School District is seeking an outstanding educator for a Grade 6 Upper Elementary vacancy.
Qualifications: Must hold or be eligible for State of CT certification in Elementary 1-6 (305 or similar)

General Description:

Teachers provide effective instruction to ensure that students learn core content knowledge and skills as well as the competencies and dispositions essential for success in college, career readiness, and citizenship. Teachers attend to the development of the whole child and adjust instruction to meet psychological, social and intellectual needs. Working as a vital member of a learning organization, teachers develop relationships with colleagues, parents, and students and work collaboratively to ensure that all children achieve academic and personal growth. Teachers demonstrate all aspects of CT's Code of Professional Responsibility.
