Job SummaryRDSI has an opening for a senior Electronic Engineer in their North Kingstown, RI location. The successful candidate will provide technical support for submarine torpedo operation, hardware, and testing.
Responsibilities- Analyze, Design, and Develop PCB layouts to meet military standards and requirements for new and existing lighting products.
- Provide technical support for the development of and improvement of torpedo technology, concepts and solutions.
- Interface with Government and Navy representatives.
RequirementsMust have minimum experience with one or more of the following work areas:
- Minimum of two (2) years demonstrated submarine and torpedo subject matter experience.
- Able to read and comprehend wiring diagrams and schematics.
- General knowledge of torpedo system operation, hardware and software.
- Able to interact with high level fleet personnel.
- Perform system integration tasks.
Qualifications - Minimum BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Must be well versed in the use of Microsoft Office Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point.
- Excellent oral and written skills.
- Must possess good interpersonal skills.
- General knowledge of SSN and SSBN communication systems and operation.
